Condolences
A. Ledpri My deepest condolences October 15, 2018

My condolences, as feelings of pain and bitterness become unbearable. It is my desire to convey a comforting thought based on the Holy Scriptures

John 5:28 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."

This passage speaks of the resurrection of our loved ones. It is not God's plan to see us suffer and die, so He extends the following invitation to us: "Come near to God and He will draw near to you" (James 4:8)

F. Pérez My deepest condolences October 15, 2018

Can something good be said about death?
It Separates friends, families and sows pain, grief and sadness.
The Bible says that death is our great enemy.
However, the Bible also gives us hope!
John 5: 28, 29 as well as Acts 24:15; indicate that there will be a resurrection of the just and unjust.
Psalm 37:29 also promises that the righteous will possess the Earth.
Through the pages of the Bible we can acquire knowledge and guidance that help us face the loss of our loved ones…It gives us a sure hope.

Gene Gretzer My sympathies to the Goin Family October 22, 2014
Russ, Cecilia and Family,

My sympathies and thoughts go out to you ... I still see and hear things that remind me of Phillip and they always bring back fond memories of our time at Wash U and the time Phillip and I were roommates. He was a great guy, fun to hang with and I really enjoyed the deep philosophical conversations we had during our time at school.
Best wishes,

Gene
Cecilia Bourguet My deepest condolences October 21, 2014

It is my wish to express my condolences and convey a comforting thought based on the Holy Scriptures.

John 5:28 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."
This passage speaks of open resurrection of our loved ones. It is God's plan to see us suffer and die, so invites us to "Come near to God and He will draw near to you" (James 4:8)

Ken Yamamoto Condolences to the family October 20, 2014
Heard the news of Phil's passing through a mutual friend.
I was a classmate and fraternity brother of Phil back at Washington University.  Phil was a unique individual who had a real passion for life.  I remember how much Phil loved to listen to music and dance away for hours.

While we have not kept in touch over the years, I often think back to those days and fondly remember Phil's warm smile and personality.  He was a special person who will be truly missed.

Regards, Ken Yamamoto

Michelle Anderson To the Goin family... October 19, 2014
... my deepest condolences. Words can't express how grieved I was to hear about Phil's passing. He was a wonderful person in every way, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the good fortune to know him. I know he touched more lives than we can know, and he leaves the world a bit sadder than he found it. I wish you peace and strength during this difficult time.

Best,
Michelle Anderson
